Join us at All Saints' Church in Pocklington on July 12th at 7.30 pm for a special event celebrating the timeless words of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries! Pocklington Singers will be performing Songs and Sonnets by George Shearing which is a special collection of Shakespearian pieces covering a variety of moods. We will also bring you works from across the centuries, including those by Thomas Tallis, T.Luis da Vittoria, Thomas Morley, William Byrd, John Whittaker, John Bennett and Robert Jones.
We will be joined for the Songs and Sonnets by fabulous musician Jay Taylor on the Double Bass.
Come along and join us for A Shakespeare Connection. It will truly be a magical evening event filled with this special collection of fabulous music in the beautiful setting of All Saints' Church Pocklington.
